報(bào)告摘要:Jet cross sections at high-energy colliders exhibit intricate patterns of logarithmically enhanced higher-order corrections. In particular, so-called non-global logarithms emerge from soft radiation emitted off energetic partons inside jets. While this is a single-logarithmic effect at lepton colliders, at hadron colliders phase factors in the amplitudes lead to double-logarithmic corrections starting at four-loop order. This effect was discovered a long time ago, but not much is known about the higher-order behavior of these terms and their process dependence. In Phys. Rev. Lett. 127 (2021) 212002, we derive, for the first time, the all-order structure of these “super-leading logarithms” for generic scattering processes at hadron colliders and resum them in closed form.
個(gè)人簡介: 邵鼎煜,復(fù)旦大學(xué)物理學(xué)系青年研究員。2014年于北京大學(xué)獲得博士學(xué)位,先后在瑞士Bern大學(xué)、 歐洲核子研究中心理論部、美國加州大學(xué)洛杉磯分校從事博士后工作,2021年加入復(fù)旦大學(xué) 。研究方向包括:量子場(chǎng)論及有效場(chǎng)論的發(fā)展和應(yīng)用;非阿貝爾規(guī)范理論的紅外結(jié)構(gòu)及量子色動(dòng)力學(xué)因子化定理證明;高能對(duì)撞機(jī)上噴注、重味夸克及Higgs物理;自旋物理、強(qiáng)子三維結(jié)構(gòu)的研究。目前在國際高水平期刊發(fā)表文章30余篇,含4篇 Physical Review Letters,總引用1000余次。多項(xiàng)研究結(jié)果得到 LHC、RHIC、Belle以及EIC等國際大科學(xué)裝置實(shí)驗(yàn)組的高度關(guān)注,被引用近百次。
鑒于目前全國范圍內(nèi)的疫情形勢(shì),本次報(bào)告通過線上形式進(jìn)行。
